Residential Supported Living

Residential support is provided to assist individuals with disabilities build the skills needed to live in a safe
environment. In-home support is provided 24/7, or on a scheduled basis where assistance is provided for
a planned number of hours. Persons receiving residential services work with their support teams to define
and obtain individual goals. Support teams include Key Advantage residential assistants, as well as a
Case Manager or Service Coordinator, and other appropriate service provider representatives

In-home Supports may include:

  • Budget and financial assistance
  • Learning to make choices with effective outcomes
  • Coordination of health care
  • Instruction in planning and preparation of nutritious meals
  • Making connections with community resources
  • Basic home care and maintenance
  • Assistance with personal care needs
Residents are encouraged to participate in other productive day programs to provide them with positive social and learning experiences. Key Advantage Support Professionals are trained in first aid and CPR so they are prepared for emergency situations. Training is repeated on an annual basis to assure that all are in compliance and are maintaining healthy, safe homes for our consumers. Someone is always available with our 24/7 on-call system.
